Mirror On The Wall

In the mirror

I see me

The same old face

That I everyday see

I tried a million things

But nothing ever worked

Those tiny white pimples

They found my face to lurk

I sigh and I think that I hate me

But when I think more, that's not true

Is my face really a good reason?

A reason to make me feel blue?

I get up and smile at my reflection

I'm totally in love with what I see

And do you know the reason for that?

That's because I'm in love with me!

I don't know how you see this one, but it does have a very humorous side to it. I wrote it after using a herbal face pack for the first time, and not finding much of a difference on my face. But then I realized that I'm happy with what I am!

Loved it!! To be honest this is exactly what I do every morning: wake up, look in a mirror, hate myself, force a wide grin on my face and then laugh because I look ridiculous :P This is a funny but also very sweet poem.
