Symphony of Feelings

False pretence

Forceful smiles

I've woken from a dream

Now, showing deceitful wiles

It's like time has stopped

Weird things I can't understand

My feelings, I can't control anymore

They're all like dry, slipping sand

My past coming back

All alive and awake

And now magically

My present seems to be fake

Trapped, and lost

No more words, I can say

And I never really thought

Simple words could take my breath away

there's a lot going on in my mind right now. All ended up into a poem. Again.

Easy to get lost. Hard to find the place you want to be. I like the description. Allowed the reader to feel the stress and desire to be alive and strong. I did like the closing lines. Thank you for the excellent poetry.
