TwilightA Poem by Aehr
As the sun descends gracefully
And leaves some light to linger And twilight comes slowly Like a slipping ring on a finger The sky attracts my soul Towards the dimming light And I am forced to wonder And admire this beautiful sight The clouds and the amazing sky A beautiful contrast I see The wind is going wild and It's fast and wild and free The bats flying overhead The magic of birds' song And I just smile because I know This enchanting place is where I belong
