Trying to let go

Like a pool of still water

Wanting to flow

Tears streaming down

Like rain from the sky

'Cause when they ask me what's wrong

I force myself to lie

With a dagger to my heart

I'll end the story here

So that I don't have to live

With any more fear

Bottling up your feelings is a habit that is easy to get into. Thing is, those feelings don't have to be "let out" in anyway. They need to be "let go." Still, pent up emotions are a scary thing, not only in yourself, but in others. Thank you for sharing this. Made me think. It was an eloquent write.
