The Man on the Moon

The Man on the Moon

A Poem by Rhea752

Pale light shining down
Upon the earth's dark ground
Starshine glowing bright
Next to the moon's dark light
The man on the moon
Brought by a devastating typhoon
Where a shadow is his only friend
But there are secrets hidden 'round every bend
Lost among the wise pearl in the sky
The man on the moon can never die
Hidden away in the silver light
The man on the moon stays just out of sight
When the moon is blue
He comes down to you
Just look in the sky one more time
Right at the midnight chime
And you may catch soon
A glimpse of the man on the moon

Seems a bit forced, but finely crafted nonetheless. Either you speak of a deity watching over us, or an astronaut gone rogue that NASA refuses to speak of.
