Rain

Rain

A Poem by Rhea752

Worries are lost
Your world is stopped
By blurred time
And dripping rhymes

Your face marked with severe lines
Are smeared into meaningless signs
Where seconds seem like hours
And you hold infinite power

There's nothing to fear
You're no lit up deer
And emotions slip away
Into puddles you keep at bay

Oh, this world of wonder
I wish I could ponder
Stay all my days
But this place is filled with mights and mays

And soon it will trickle and leak
And nothing will be left of a world many seek
I will just have to wait until the next rain
And endure in between, no not rainbows, but pain

Wow, this is excellent. I love this. Great job, the joy of just soaking up the rain and all it can hold is described so well.
