That Devil in Disguise

Golden sunlight 

And glittering azure ponds 

Lush green trees 

And fragrant flowers 

Cleverly disguise 

The sorrows of this park 

Inhabited by night are 

The shunned and the wary 

The unloved and the weary 

Inhabited by day are 

The happy smiling families 

The ones who refuse to see 

That's okay 

Keep plastering on those smiles 

Speaking those lies 

And pretending you can't see 

That Devil in Disguise

How can you say this isn't good? This is wonderful. You've practically spoken how everyone in the world, pretty much were's a mask at some point. We may think we see someone special, or someone kind, but we could be wrong. We may see someone creepy and mysterious and think instantly "BAD GUY!" but we could be wrong. You can see through the mask, unless you crack it.
