The Warriors

The Warriors

A Poem by Rhea752

Ink replaces blood
And pen replaces sword
We ravage the world
With our powerful words

We carve our own path
Into history
With truths
We force the world to see

We speak our mind
And no-one can stop us
We say what we want
And we say what we must

Because we are
The fighters
The warriors
The writers

You know for some strange reason I couldn't find a picture of a warrior brandishing a pen. Oh well. Another poem about us writers. Hope you like it.

Funny, I never would have thought about fighters rhyming with writers... interesting.
But I do like this, mostly because of all the things I can relate it to whether it's how the way people have and tried to rewrite history, or how influential things like newspapers are becoming today. Writers do hold an incredible amount of power and you captured it in your poem. Good write.

Great job! And creative imagination! You're prespective of us writers, I feel, is spot on. All writers are warriors! Even if we may not think the piece of writing is good, it's still an amazing battle that was created by the sword (pen). All writing is a beautiful, graceful dance, we like to call writing.
Great job!

Oh how the pen can often be mightier than the sword.. Great write! It makes me proud as a writer. The rhyme especially adds to this because it is speaking on the pride of a writer, kind of ironic.. but it works so well! Great work!!! Keep writing about writing, I love it!
