Reignite

Reignite

A Poem by rhane118

One kiss

is all it takes

to light the spark.

To release the sunset,

in my mind;

firecrackers with every breath.

World spinning,

a moment of perfection--

dissipates…

He pulls back,

separating us,

and the cold washes over;

the spark dies.

The sunset is clouded,

the firecrackers burn out,

and the world comes to a dizzying

halt.

Left breathless,

He cleans closer

lips meeting once more,

and the spark

reignites.
