Dark Heart

This is another poem from my book, "Eyes of Forgotten Innocence."

Dark heart reside within my breast,

And take my light heart, dearest child.

Take yourself a deserv'd rest.

Dark heart reside within my breast,

And give their heart a place to jest.

Away the pain--least make it mild.

Dark heart reside within my breast,

This is my first Triolet style poem.
