Ungrateful BroadA Poem by Guillermo RodriguezA poem of feeling unappreciated by someone else
Lately everything has not been the same,
your words don't have a meaning; they are just plain. Why are you playing? You know I put in effort, season after season. Even in the harshest winters, just to give you comfort. I was like your sweater, that gave you warmth; but now you ignore me, and don't even read my letters. But now is whatever, so don't hit me up when its December. I was trying to be the better one, but just go back to your older one. Just how you want it; It will be all unstable, because you are so ungrateful. Even your momma, would feel ashamed of you. But for me, I have to go with my flow; Catch new flights, new airs, with new birds. Play the same moves you made, even with the same game cards. But just remember, you were the most ungrateful broad. ~Guillermo Rodriguez © 2016 Guillermo RodriguezAuthor's Note
