Humble beginnings

Humble beginnings

A Poem by Guillermo Rodriguez

 Humble beginnings,
 living the realities of the world's misgivings;
 yet we stay dreaming.
 Struggle with admitting,
that the actuality is colder than the winters.
 Reminiscing about it very subtle,
because the light has been diminished.

 Everyday is 40 below,
 and never forgiving.
Every minute the jungle has another one missing,
and souls tremble until they feel like quitting.
 There is no end,
 so we become carefree.
In my position, all I care is about the MXC.
Those are the things that my eyes see,
 and my mind thinks about.
Always remembering that it all started from
 humble beginnings.
