This is quite deep and true, for any of us, really. Sometimes we have to do the wrong thing to protect someone we love.

ain't that true. I feel as if sometimes we do the wrong to protect someone we love and it ends up hurting ourselves. The question is Is it worth it.

That is a great question. I try to follow this logic: always tell the truth and always do what is right so, at the very least, there is no scar left on our souls and no guilt in our minds.
