Emerging from Emptiness

Emerging from Emptiness

A Poem by Rebekah Faith Vrabel

Emerging from Emptiness

Seeing the sun
after a decade of
dim.
Thunder throbbing
my heart from the
vibrations of your
voice.
Tingling taking over
my tongue and heat licking
my lips like crimson
lipstick.
Shivers from the circles
you make on my skin
with your fingers like
fine art.
Emerging from emptiness
after a lifetime without
love.
