Drinking All of Me

Drinking All of Me

A Poem by Rebekah Faith Vrabel

Drinking All of Me

Like a forgotten tea bag
floating in brown liquid.
Soggy with your red intentions.
Steeping forever -- the
boiling water now frozen
from being in the shade
for too long.
Waiting for you to evaporate
and leave me brittle.
Clinging to the side of
this chipped blue mug.
