An Echo Within The Rainbow

An Echo Within The Rainbow

A Poem by Robert Filos

The mind rolls within aching skull
perception falters, vision dulls

mannequins wear the future
language moves in a stupor

this symphony without melody
castration revealed as destiny

the echo seen not a rainbow
just the sound of the shadow

mocking micro-waves climb the walls
distant clouds of poison call

and that is all
