long lost friend I've missed you

long lost friend I've missed you

A Poem by Robert Filos
"

A song for the one I love

"
long lost friend I've missed you
from the day you left
we sure had some times
but I can only remember good ones
the ones that smell sweet like you

honeysuckle, in the morning
honeydew in the afternoon
and in the evening, oh in evening
that breeze brings Wisteria,
soft, silky, and tender
reminds me of you

best friends are made to stay
but when you left me
I began to doubt, the smell
of your jeans fresh off the line
is good, but won't make me cry. like

honeysuckle, in the morning
honeydew in the afternoon
and in the evening, oh in evening
that breeze brings Wisteria,
soft, silky, and tender
reminds me of you

friends like us will reunite in Heaven
never leaving each other alone
mercy and grace angels all around
but til that day we see our savior
the scents down here carry you

honeysuckle, in the morning
honeydew in the afternoon
and in the evening, oh in evening
that breeze brings Wisteria,
soft, silky, and tender
reminds me of you
