Love Sonnet 223

Love Sonnet 223

A Poem by Reyvrex Questor Reyes

Some moonlit nights have shone not very bright,
This, sadly, I found to be so oneday,
Or was it one night, that held no delight,
Could be because, love, you were not with me;

Woe, this belief was augmented the more,
In many more nights that were without you,
How sadness bored so deeply to my core,
The depths of which, how, nary my soul knew;

Yet if you come, the moon now could not show,
It matters not, I'll care not if it did,
Your presence lights all nightly skies to glow,
Let Luna stay wherever she have hid;
. . . . Loved any moonless night with you at hand,
. . . . It's night without you that I can't withstand.
