Love Sonnet 23A Poem by Reyvrex Questor ReyesYoung love may shine when exposed, as though diamonds which luster show after cutting the quartz ore that it was before.Clear diamonds would regale, by being rare, In glints, beguiling, by the wearer's hand; Hell conjures in many an envious stare, If but this gem been plenteous as sand; And yet raw quartz, may lay uncut for years, Which also hides its quaint beauty and sheen, As though young love, whose luster best appears, When lovers bare their true selves to be seen; For love, is such delight for eyes to see, A feeling, sweet, from which touch finds allure, Yet love is such bondage, where hearts are free, Though not a habit so bad to endure; ......Gems mystify while men's minds deem it so, ......Like love that can fade out when hearts forgo.
