Love Sonnet 138

Love Sonnet 138

A Poem by Reyvrex Questor Reyes
"

You and me, will always be a part of a memory. Certain memories will be enshrined in our consciousness, while others will be suppressed or ignored.

"
Of sweet moments we want remembrances,
So Heaven's gifts we won't ever forget,
That despite Fate and widened distances
Between us, we might stay bonded, complete;
When years impart more shades upon your face,
Or else deepen the creases of your smile,
There's something to remind of your sweet grace,
And beckon towards home, mile after mile;
Worn vestiges, the signposts to the past,
They lined the highway recollection reached,
And bore until romance revives at last,
As though the veil, or Time itself, was breached;
.......Distances shrink, and fortune can rewind,
.......To bring to life the memories enshrined.

Shakespearean standards are the ideals, but meter and rhythm may still be not well achieved at times. My apologies for these failures if it so happens to be the case.
