Winter

Winter

A Poem by Nick Reynolds
"

Lyrics

"

Winter comes, the summers go

The water runs, the rivers flow

From place to place, we don’t know why

We do not care, or ask the sky

What are we, when we grow

Who are we, once we know

Who we’re with, when we cry

Who stands by, as we die

Chorus:

These are things we can’t see

As the darkness creeps in where were trying to break free

Death comes slowly but will take us all

Who’ll be left when the earth starts to fall

Who says what we can do

I know its not me and I know its not you

The end has come, where are you?

Your crystal ball, what can it do?

Empires gone, what ensues?

With no one to lead, no one will lose.
