Have you ever closed your eyes and tried to reach the sky when everything made you want to cry?
When you were sad your tears felt cold as ice,
and the anger brought fire.
And the happiness made them glisten like sunlight in your eyes.
Have you ever closed your eyes to cry and opened them with a smile so bright the sun had to hide?
So bright that before your eyes the stars began to weep and the wind blew to caress your face, and everything hummed to lull you to sleep.
Have you ever screamed to Death to tell him how you feel?
That you don't want to cry, don't really want to die
and for once you can smile.
Have you ever thought of me like this at all?
That I've done it all and worse, because everyone has to fall. But once in awhile you rise back up and-
Have you ever

-imagined me like this
-at all?
Because I see the sun hide from your light all the time.

Wow, this is amazing, the metaphors in this poem are so great I smiled as I read it.
"Have you ever closed your eyes to cry and opened them with a smile so bright the sun had to hide?"
This is so beautiful, and powerful sometimes crying is a great way toget rid of the pressures of life, after those tears are shed, you feel happy, you feel like the weights came off your shoulders, putting a smile on your face that the only thing left for the sun to do is hide.
The imagery in this piece is simply breathtaking, you did a great job keeping it beautiful but at the same time the emotions are felt. :D
