Again

Again

A Poem by Raven Wilson

When she finds out her world will fall apart.

He's cheating, what else is new?
Its the eigth time we've told her, too.
She's gunna cry, happens every time
I'm gunna smile as I watch her die inside.
We've told her many a time
What he does in HIS spare time
But she always runs back to his "loving" arms
After we fix the puzzle,
After we try so hard.
So this time I'll laugh as I watch her cry...
and hand her back unarmed.
No use repairing a vessel that destroys itself.

Wow, I really enjoyed this piece. I have to agree with Zeitgeist_Manifesto, this really must me what tought love is about. I know I've been very tempted to let my friends solve their own problems without any help... Especial when they get hurt over something that I told them they would. I guess I'm just saying that I can really relate to this.

Wow. I guess this is what they mean by tough love. I once her a saying...
"If they like it..I love it". This poem brings that to mind. I see the concern.
It's interesting to see you hit the point where you have to let go to save
your own sanity.
