Jealousy

Jealousy

A Poem by Raven Wilson

Is it wrong to be jealous, with a black heart

with a stare that can put daggers into a heart

is it wrong , is it wrong.

Is it wrong to be tired and just want a shoulder

just want to rest up, just want to cuddle up

be next to you, to be part of me.

you and me baby ain't we kinda messed up

writing these songs and staring long

and, oh, baby is it wrong?

Is it wrong to miss your loving eyes

to be jealous and feel all that rage inside.

Is it wrong for me to hold you and tell you what not to do

'cause all i wanna do is have all of you,

is it wrong to hold you back when I feel alone

or to secretly wish we were back at home

Alone in my bedroom, wouldn't know what to do

so long as you hold me, don't care what they've told me

Oh, baby, is it wrong?

Is it so wrong to love you the way I do?

I love how your poem clearly describes how one can be jealous, but i also love how you wrote beyond the feeling of jealousy and anger. Like you gave examples of how you missed your love. very nice
