EragonA Poem by Raven WilsonJust something I threw together about the first two books of the inheritance series, a bit of a summing up.Awaken'd in the mornings rush, running, hiding in the brush my life has changed, no longer ordinary now extraordinary my adventure begins. Running after all my foes behind me my old life goes, without me. Now that i am free what shall i do with me? A choice resides within. Not opposed and not agreed do i know whats best for me? What is it that I want? To give up the only life I know or to let the old one start to grow, what to do. I'm forced to choose the Empire loses a new power. Now I know what to do, I now join you, My Varden. My duty now is clear to kill the foe so near, Protector. Crippled now and in mourning n'er was given any warning of the pain inside. I have found I'm not alone almost do i feel at home, in Ellesmera. Dear elva cursed, I did the worst now I am to cure it. Too soon I leave my hearts deceived in the battle. Up from dead, alive and said, Murtagh, my brother. Devastated and weak emotions hit the peak with Roran. Katrina's gone hear sorrows song though she lives. Nasuada, Arya forgive me my clan too please see, that this is my destiny. © 2010 Raven WilsonReviews
