The End Happened Faster Than Its Inception (December 24, 2012)A Poem by Cahjli SymesSo I decided to post some old poems I made back in high school lmao
I can't eat.
Can't sleep. I throw up in my dreams. I pull teeth. You drink blood. My heart tears, I thought years. Yet months. It's the end as it started. I have coldsweats. The love spreads. A virus, this tyrant. Dreaming of something not real, not here. No hope, no love, no trust. Just the pain I digest. Nothing more but heartache and pain. This dream is collapsing. As to what I thought was love in the moonlight, was nothing more than a shade within a dark night. Just a simple spectre, the memories now artificial. Inception. The fin. Rearrange you find end. The last three verses set my hearse in. While forced inside a rat race as my energy depletes, I still feel abandoned from the cold day of defeat. © 2016 Cahjli Symes |
