Olha, The Ballerina of Glasgow.

Olha, The Ballerina of Glasgow.

A Poem by Cahjli Symes
"

The feel good poem the whole family can enjoy. :) 1983.

"

Broken legs with brittle bones. Forced down to bleed on the dirty floor.

She loads her gun and counts to ten.

She's feeling so empty, her face is blood red.

The room is damp crimson, the smell reminiscent. Bullets pierce right through as her mag was missing.

She owed 40k to harsh Moscow thugs, who put blades through the lungs of her child just for drugs.

Just for coke, now a joke. Her mind now on the corner.

Little did she know it was her husband that shot her.

-Ivan Tarkovsky. June 6th, 1984.

Serialism in words for it reflects the possible outcome for so many, very powerful emotionally and spiritually Standing Ovation Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!
If I may be so bold I would like to offer an edit of the sentence structure:

Broken legs with brittle bones
Forced down to bleed on the dirty floor
She loads her gun and counts to ten
She's feeling so empty, her face is blood red
The room is damp crimson, the smell reminiscent
Bullets pierce right through as her magazine was missing
She owed 40k to harsh Moscow thugs
Who put blades through the lungs of her child
Just for drugs, just for coke, now a joke
Her mind now on the corner
Little did she know it was her husband that shot her
-Ivan Tarkovsky June 6th, 1984

It reads with a better flow this way (I also changed mag too magazine as many people not familiar with firearms would not understand the references). If I overstepped my bounds then I ask your forgiveness.
