Depixelation (Death from Within, 1987)

Depixelation (Death from Within, 1987)

A Poem by Cahjli Symes

Laying on the floor
Bleeding helpless
Feeling cold.

With my vision blurring out
From the lead
within my dome.

My feet is feeling numb
As I can't shout out my thoughts,
Now my lungs about to pop
Once my heart begins stop

My vision is a blur
Pixilataion
The soul observes.

The stretcher's on the streets,
Decomposing as we speak.
What a life this really was,
Even though born in vain.

Even though we're all the same,
Living within a bane.
A moral compass
Circum to fear.

Maggots burrow through my ears,
Words echo from only cellphones
As my soul now drifts away.

Ascending once my flesh is cold,
Nosey civilians
Getting bold.

Altered states within decomposition,
Is better than life without composition.
