Barbara Gordon

Barbara Gordon

A Story by Cahjli Symes

I look up in the stars
As I wonder where you are?
Once then violent waves
Have been stagnate for some days

As old flames now went out
When the wind drifts away
Oh today, now tomorrow
I made peace with my sorrows

Now my grave now so hollow
Buried fear, counted hours
Confidence soon to follow
Foxes slaughtering the owls

Drowned in ink
Left to think
Also walking with the
Shallow

Now the life we used to know
Is now lost within the shadows.
