Maria

Maria

A Poem by Cahjli Symes

Trauma from her eyes
Pain from her smile
Done wishing things
Would've lasted a while

But you smash the hourglass that the sand was in
Broken like the heart
From sore blisters

Blood on the floor
As he kissed
Never missed her

But just one smile
And a picture of her face
Makes you sit and wonder why these words are a waste

As your nothing less than a disgrace of a thought
In which I've erase
Because you are a battle not worth being fought

The fake migration
Just for the occasion
As the mother hen pecked out the heart of the raven

Your smile alludes a haven
Yet you've craven blood like your mother
The Amber hen of Batista

Goreing out your brain
Yet we were never the same
Yet who's the one to blame to fall victim to these games?

As you're now the bane of vermin, chewing hearts out in vain.
