Transvaginal Mesh

Transvaginal Mesh

A Poem by Cahjli Symes

There's a dim bulb on a streetlight
That never goes out

Feeling heat throughout the palm of my hands
Turning clockwise
Questioning who I am

Each step taken
The road gets brighter
The feeling in my heart is hotter than fire

Ten-thousand suns
Yet still I lay here

Left burning from the pain
Of all these years
