I love the rain

Grey clouds

Caresses the sky

I lay

On the

Soaked ground

Droplets fall

Down to the earth

Raindrops

Kissing my body

The cool water

Runs across

My body

Coursing like blood

Through my veins

Her entity

Hovers above

The sight of her

Magnificence

Drowns out all sound

Her raven

Hair

Her form beautiful

She falls aside me

Delighting in

The rain

Entranced in

Her eyes

I stare

The colour of the

Rain itself

Swirls inside her eyes

Rain falls plentyfull

Around us

We lay

On the

Rain-soaked earth

Our bodies

Absorbing the

Simple glory

Of the

Rain

funny thing about rain, you know your gonna leave it soaked and cold, but just being in it sets your mind away from thoughts like that. To think that something so fundamental as water can become such a great metaphor for the better things in life. Really takes the phrase "It was still worth it." Great write.
