Summary of Life

Winners never lose,

And losers never win.

But really, what's worse is,

Staying in between.

 

Figure out your powers,

And use them to rise.

It's the only thing you have,

That no one can ever disguise.

 

Far as it might seem,

You'll need to walk ahead.

For those who choose to stay,

Would certainly begin to fade.

 

Step ahead and look beyond,

That's where lies your destiny.

Tread along the path you chose,

Go slow and steady.

 

Keep your eyes fixed,

But don't fail to look around.

Cause if it's meant to be,

You'll reach there, safe and sound.

 

Looking around, “Wow!

Life is great!” you might say.

Cause happiness you know,

Well, it lies along the way!

Often while battling depression, people tend to feel that they are all alone. They keep their problems to themselves, but they fail to realize that doing so is possibly the worst thing they could do. This poem is my attempt to help such people get out of depression. I hope this helps. :)
