If I could be

Filipinos are so family oriented, Now being one of those I wrote this poem for my family...

Dreaming that one day we could be

Like Bill Gates and Oprah Winfrey

That I can bring my whole family

To our dream vacation in any country

 

That my mother wont no longer be

Washing the dishes and stain stick in me

The pain that cant give her a life i dreamed for thee

Mother I really want you to be happy

 

Father hope that you could drive your own Ferrari

That you will not be driving for others to have fee

Instead you will drive for us your family

That time I could feel that i really made you happy

 

Sisters my 3 sisters for that time we could be

Have our helping hands freely

I know that deep within you and me

Helping for others we don’t have difficulty

 

For my town and country

Promise if ever I will be

Rich man in a year soon it will be

I will be serving you with full of heart and honesty

Only in God's hands and glory!

I really love this poem! It shows how much we wish we could do but we can't and how all people have good in their hearts no matter who they are!
