Fresh Start for FloridaA Poem by Electric KazooI wish it would snow.
I wish it would snow
Pure, Fresh, Clean So the world would stop and stare The children would laugh The old would laugh And none would hear the difference To feel the light kisses of cold, Cool, Innocent, Soft As they floated down gently brushing cheeks Seeing a palm heavy with a snow coat Whilst the moon is full, with the man in disbelief That green is now white That the old is dead, yet wonderfully so And the new comes Unstained, Unspoiled,Unwearied. © 2010 Electric Kazoo |
