STAR CROSSED LOVERS

STAR CROSSED LOVERS

A Poem by REMIGIUS SUNDAY EZE

STAR CROSED LOVERS

            Lovers, I know, we were,

1          When the plane of our love,

           knew no crash nor fault.

           Lovers we were, yeah,

when the ship, in our friendship,

          And relationship has not wrecked.

          Lovers, of course, we were,

When the car of our love,

          Knew no auto nor crash.

          Lovers, we thought, we were,

When the air sack of Amy's womb,

Was not blown like wedding baloons.

           Lovers, we professe, we were,

When the foetus was not planted.

             Lovers, I know, we were,

When we idled  our leisure times,

            At the very beautiful garden,

Where lovers meet, play hide and seek.

Oh, what a star crossed lovers we were!

Lovers we were, but lovers we regret,

Now, the deed has been done.

slug like love; no shell for protection,

               Enamel less marrowed love,

That's prone to break at will.

Oh love!  You hurt. why now?

You have made me a father,

When fathering care, I know not.
