NSUKKA, MY NSUKKA.A Poem by REMIGIUS SUNDAY EZElove for my own very ancestral home. NSUKKA precisely.
Nsukka, my Nsukka
You may have heard about Nsukka From many a tongue that tell tales But that may be different from Nsukka. You may be in Nsukka. But you may not know Nsukka. Nsukka, a mysterious city of a Kind. You must see in Nsukka, If you really know Nsukka: A topography of Jah’s craft, An aesthetic serene map; A sugarless sugared land, With booming oil love. A land hidden treasure overflows. Boko-H crisis free zone, That embraces many victims returned. Nsukka, a mighty land That breeds giant beings. Giants not in size or magnitudes, But in sound and qualitative minds. A land decked with hills, plains, Valleys, rivers forest, inter alia. A land many envy to possess, For its virgin oil well. O Nsukka, my Nsukka! How can I in my sound reasoning Regret ever born and brought up Under your tutelage? The land of my ancestors, Where breeze blows freely, With no turbulent-torrent rain of crisis. I love you mother Nsukka I am proud to be your beloved son. (Remysun) © 2019 REMIGIUS SUNDAY EZEAuthor's Note
