LOVE SUPPLICANTA Poem by REMIGIUS SUNDAY EZELOVE SUPPLICANT
Lo, the almighty venus! Come and see your children dying. Drowning at the penal fire of passion, Men called love.
We Bid you come, and their universe watch The ladies with five, but has no one. Creatures with eyes, but with no sight. Animal with skins but cannot feel, The warm bloody hands of love. Shrews with noses, but cannot perceive, The fragrant scent of booming oil love. Angels with tongues, but have lost taste, of man’s sugarless sugared love.
Venus, the goddess of love, We bid you come and watch, The fate of hopeless men in love With Fearie queens in utopian land.
Come now, and our souls liberate, From drowning in the burning ocean, Of love some call passion.
Oh, the caring mother of lovers. Lower your ears and records, If you are too busy to come, The supplicant of men in love: Teach our opposite sex Their five organs recollect: To see and recognize at sight, To feel the smooth touch of love, To hear and decipher, the true sound of love, To perceive and obtain, The true taste of our love. © 2013 REMIGIUS SUNDAY EZE |
