Walking With The WindA Poem by MariahA poem. No way!
All the wind that has ever blown Could that wind just bring me home? If I walk with the wind? Down manmade concrete sidewalks that will not last And memories that are fading fast The wind and I Me and the wind We can run together Hand in hand. Weaving between the clouds We will soar And I can wonder how I’d never seen the world Quite like this before Raging with the wind Across silenced cities And impelled plains The wind and I The wind and me We could whisper the truth For all the open ears. And would the wind ever stop blowing Would the wind ever stop knowing? Can the wind Ever take me home? © 2008 Mariah |
