My Own Little WorldA Poem by Mariah
The grass is green The sky is blue Gravity pulls me down to Earth In the real world, that is But in my own little world The rain falls down in purple streaks I leap about the clouds And the ocean waves crash upon orange sand In my own little world “Impossible” just isn’t a word Dreams become reality And enough is no longer in short supply In my own little world Loves shines like the sun Happiness is infinity And bliss doesn’t have to be a delicacy But only in my own little world. © 2008 MariahReviews
