Adam

Adam

A Poem by reluctantsyren

"
Have you seen my Adam?
Oh, he is a fine mettle of a man!
He is strong in muscle and in spleen.
A well tuned calf hath he.
I can't believe that such a man would have eyes for me, me, me!
He can pick me up
You, too! If you're daring!
On Hercules, I swear he would not drop us!
His eyes like misty pools to wander into -
But his affections are no murky thing!
Oh, I give God my thanks for the day I handed him my
Love!
He can be as sweet and mellow as a babe
When we do cuddle and frolic,
Lo, I have seen him grown fierce when he dost
think someone would wish to harm me!
Oh, have you seen my Adam?
I do not know where to find him!
