Marilyn

Marilyn

A Poem by reluctantsyren

I think I learned a lot of what I know about men
From Marilyn Monroe playing with Tony Curtis
Teaching him how to "enjoy" kissing
In Some Like It Hot
Where she considered herself an expert and went for it
Again and again
To his cold fish
Let's not play pretend,
That works,
It's a horrible hook.

Then:
Don't forget her and Olivier. He sure won't.
That long blonde hair. The period looking clothing (well sex sells)?
Her swoons and sashays.
She WAS the movie. I don't think the ACTOR liked it.
Not one little bit.

And who could leave out the psychosis of The Seven Year Itch?
A man sex crazed with a new dame upstairs, who does tasteful nudes
With driftwood
It's a good thing they both love The Piano
She keeps her panties in the ice box
But what really chills and thrills her? That or classical music!?!

It pays off though when he takes her for a walk
And her skirt flies
Up UP UP
And there we were
Voyuers satisfied
Having this private peice of our hero
Already milked for so much.

I like the way you bring us back to Marilyn's unique skills of seducing the audience. While living a tragic life of isolation.

Well done!

Have you seen the excellent movie My week with Marilyn ?
