Princeton

A Poem by reluctantsyren

The beach at the Princeton hotel
is where I first fell in love with poetry
Sunsets spilled over rainy skies
of that young summer
a group of children jumped over
a peir
and swam clean strokes
and roared

outside ocean swiped away our footprints
and the moon shone no brighter than the glow of our teeth

boys swam in
his skin browned over
his eyes were wild against the landscape

Outside the waves were dying against the sands
and they whispered
Oh Child! Oh Child!

Childhood memories seem to be a theme around here lately, must be that time of year. Great imagery here, I can see the beach, the pier, and the children jumping into the water. Nice job.
