What about light?

Sometime I wonder

what life would be like

with no light

But then I remember

the thought hitting me like a rock

that I do know what that's like

It's dark and sad

filled with fear of the unknown

something we can't help

but wish away from us

it spreads through the waters

underneath our floorboards

and enters our dreams with force

darkness would envelope 

our every hope

because light is not only 

in the sky

it's in the holes 

in our heart
