An Ode to the Rainbow

An Ode to the Rainbow

A Poem by Reine Lyshen

After the war between the sun and the rain,
The arch of colors comes out and reigns,
After too much light and too much darkness, I have no clue
But when I see the rainbow, I reminisce memories of you.

Before the war I remember peace of the night sky,
Silence and darkness disheartened me to fly,
You would not leave, would you?
But the rainbow it reminds me, it is you, you are true.

We celebrate here comes spring,
I remember the smile you bring,
Not a mediocre smile, it is treasured too,
And when I see the rainbow, I think of happiness with you.

When the war starts again,
I waited and starred at the sky so often,
The lines of colors that make me reminisce memories so true,
The rainbow, when I see it, I see you.

About
I am the road that will lead you to another way. I am a light that will show you a hint of darkness. I am the music that will give you silence. I am the shed that won't protect you, i'll make you feel.. more..
