By My Side

My realization of God in my life.

          By My Side

 

By my side.

He is always by my side.

I truly know and believe that now.

I think of all the times I never knew He was by my side.

I can only think back of how lucky I was, and how so I am now.

But, yet again, I am so wrong.

Better now, lucky, is so wrong.

There was no luck with me.

Only Him, by my side.

As it should be, He walks by my side.

He stands by my side.

I am a better person; because, He is by my side.

You too can only pray that He is by your side.
