I Need A Job

I Need A Job

A Poem by Cheef Rockah

Kids at home ain't no food

Runnin' around

Sit the f**k down

I ain't in the mood

Listen daddy's really tired

'Cause today ain't my day

I just got fired

I don't know why

And I don't know how

But please kids don't frown

Daddy will find anotha job

I promise

No kids I ain't gon' back to the mob

Just keep your heads up

And your dream's high

Please baby girl don't cry

I promise you we'll be out the slums

It may not be now

It may not be tomorrow

But when it does you'll be like "WOW!"

So, kids don't give up

Stive for bigger things

'Cause only you can pull your own strings
