Case 2: Realization

{Scene takes place a few hours later outside. The guys walk out; laughing & get their things together}

Vic: (looks at Marcus) Yo, Quest ya need a ride to your house?

Marcus: (looks at Vic) Nah, I should be OK. Besides I gotta run to the store which is just around the corner so I'll see you guys later?

Ron: (stretches) Well, actually I'm gonna head up to Wal-Mart to see if they got anything that can help us with everything. Maybe stop at Best Buy as well.

Quin: I may go with, Ron. What about you, Vic?

Vic: (looks at them) Think I'm gonna go over Nessa's for a while (smiles)

Quin: (smiles) Oh s**t trying to get in them skins! (laughs)

Vic: (punches Quin in chest) Shut the f**k up n***a (laughs)

Quin: (laughing) Ight, ight chill. We will get everything together tomorrow.

{The guys shake hands & leave. Vic pulls off to Vanessa's house}

Vic: (calls Vanessa)

Vanessa: (answers) Heyy, Vic (smiles)

Vic: (smiles) Hey, what's up. It still cool I come over?

Vanessa: (smiles big) Yeah, my boo ain't come over he went out with his fam. So, just honk when you get here. (starts changing; puts on something cute)

Vic: (blushes) OK, well see you soon. (hangs up) Hmmm, wonder why he ain't come over he usually goes over like every night.

{Vic pulls up to Vanessa's house & honks. Scene now show's the front of Vanessa's house. A nice scene a nice tan-ish color house}

Vic: (walks up to door; knocks) Hmm, kinda quiet.

Vanessa: (yells out window) Just come in, Vic. 

Vic: (shrugs shoulders; opens door; walks inside) Where ya at, Nessa?

Vanessa: (smiles) Be down in just a minute. Make yourself comfortable.

Vic: (smiles; walks into kitchen; grabs a soda; walks back over to couch; sits down) Ahh, relaxing.

Vanessa: (walks downstairs slowly; looks at Vic; smiles) Hey you.

Vic: (looks over at Vanessa; eyes get big; looks her up & down; smiles big) Well, uhh damn, Hey.

Vanessa: (giggles; smiles) What? You like? (spins around slow)

Vic: (smiles) Hell, I love it. (blushes)

Vanessa: (giggles) Really? (looks at Vic all cute)

Vic: (smiles; get up; walks over to Vanessa; looks at her) Yes, really.

Vanessa: (blushes; looks away; giggles) Shut up. Go sit down. (goes to walk past Vic)

Vic: (looks at Vanessa; walks back to the couch; sits down) So, why ain't ya man come by today?

Vanessa: (looks at Vic) He said he had s**t to do with his fam. I can't trip.

Vic: (sit back slow) Yeah, I feel you. Y'all doing good though?

Vanessa: (smiles) I mean yeah of course I can't complain. (looks at Vic) How bout you? You found anybody yet?

Vic: (sips on drink; clears throat) Nah, not really. (looks at Vanessa) Just too many s***s round here. I mean not saying you are. (smiles)

Vanessa: (smiles; giggles: shoves Vic softly) Shut ya smart a*s mouth!

Vic: (shoves Vanessa back) What you gonna do?

Vanessa: (smiles; shoves back) Don't start Vic! (giggles)

Vic: (smiles; starts tickling Vanessa) What now, son?! What now?!

Vanessa: (swatting at Vic; laughing) Stop! Stop! Please! (laughing harder)

Vic: (smiles; still tickling Vanessa) Nope! You wanna talk s**t!

Vanessa: (falls onto couch; still laughing) Please! Stop! You're gonna make me pee!! (laughing)

Vic: (gets on top of Vanessa; stops tickling her; smiles) HA! I win!

Vanessa: (folds arms) Humph, I let you win. (looks away)

Vic: (smiles) Lies! It's OK be mad.

Vanessa: (quiet; avoiding looking at Vic)

Vic: (getting concerned) Oh, c'mon Nessa ya can't really be mad at me.

Vanessa: (pokes bottom lip out; stays quiet)

Vic: (smiles) Oh, so it's that kind of party huh? Do I gotta make you talk?

Vanessa: (still quiet; trying not to smile)

Vic: (lays head on Vanessa's chest; looks at her all cute) Nessaaaa, please don't be mad

Vanessa: Humph---(stays quiet)

Vic: (turn her face towards him) Please Nessa. Don't be like that. (looks in her eyes)

Vanessa: (blushes; smiles) Ugh! OK! A*****e (giggles)

Vic: (sits up; gets off Vanessa; sits back) Told you..I win (smiles)

Vanessa: (smiles) Whatever. (thinking "Mmmm, I kinda like him being on me like that"; blushes) 

Vic: (smiles; looks at Vanessa) Soooo...??

Vanessa: (looks at Vic; smiles all cute) Soo, wanna watch a movie??

Vic: (smiles) Sure. Let's watch a scary movie.

Vanessa: (smiles) OK, sounds good.

{Vanessa gets up slow, fixes her shorts & walks over to pick out a movie. Vic sitting there still with this black mass on his mind, but also the thought of what just happened} 

Vanessa: (takes out movie) Oooo, bay we gotta watch this! It just came out like a few months ago. It's called ummmm....Into The Darkness.

Vic: (looks at Vanessa with a confused face) Didn't we see one that was like that already?

Vanessa: (looks at Vic) No, we seen Darkness Falls & this movie is crazy from what I heard.

Vic: (sighs; shrugs shoulders) Eh, why the hell not. (smiles)

Vanessa: (smiles; puts movie in; presses play; walks over; lays in Vic's lap) You don't mind I lay like this right?

Vic: (looks at Vanessa; smiles) Of course not. (looks up at movie)

{A few minutes go by & a scary part shows up. Vanessa jumps & sits up to get closer to Vic. Vic smiles & puts his arms around her. She smiles & lays her head on his chest)

Vanessa: (smiling) I'm really glad you came over. (looks up at Vic all sweet)

Vic: (smiles; looks back at Vanessa) No problem you already know I was gonna come over regardless.

{Soon enough Vanessa & Vic connect eyes for a quick second. Then they quickly look away. Vanessa giggles & looks back at Vic}

Vic: (looks at Vanessa) What?

Vanessa: (smiles) Nothing just I don't know. (looks away)

Vic: (smiles; turns Vanessa back; looks in Vanessa's eyes) Tell me boo.

Vanessa: (looks back in Vic's eyes; smiles; blushes) You know what.

Vic: (smiles; leans in slow) Mmm, I don't think so. I think you should tell me.

Vanessa: (turns away) I don't think we should, Vic. (blushes)

Vic: (turns Vanessa back; kisses her all romantic)

Vanessa: (melts in Vic's arms; keeps kissing him)

{Vic & Vanessa sit there kissing for a good minute or so. Then suddenly a voice is heard only by Vic}

Voice: (evilly) Victor.......YOU....WILL.....DIE!! 

Vic: (stops kissing Vanessa; gets quiet suddenly)

Vanessa: (looks at Vic; see's he is terrified) Vic...Vic!! 

Vic: (not hearing Vanessa; stays quiet)

Voice: (laughing manically) YES! LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY VICTOR!! YOU REMEMBER ME NOW!! LOOK AT ME!!! LOOK...AT...ME!!

Vic: (looks up at tv; see's black mass appear) NOOO!!!

Vanessa: (shaking Vic) Vic, what's wrong?! Please talk to me!!

Vic: (snaps out of trance; catches breath)

Vanessa: (runs hand down Vic's face; looks at him) Vic, are you OK?

Vic: (looks at Vanessa; panting) I....I don't know.

Vanessa: (hugs Vic) It's OK. Look stay here tonight I don't want you driving after how you just acted OK?

Vic: (looks at Vanessa) You sure? Won't ya man get mad?

Vanessa: (looks at Vic) I don't care! After that I don't want you getting hurt or you hurting yourself. Please. (looks at Vic concerned)

Vic: (hugs Vanessa) OK, I'll stay.

{Scene shows Vic staring at the tv now fuzzy for some reason. Laughter heard very distorted & distant only for Vic to hear. Vic holds Vanessa close & closes his eyes. Scene cut)
