Why?

Why?

A Poem by A

Why?

is no really that complex

NO...

It’s usually the word that you can’t stop saying

when you are asked to do a chore

or

asked to do something you don’t want to do

So

Why?

I get stuck in this position time after time

hoping

falling

one for one

thinking if only this could work

I pick them

older

further

and

no sugar coating

completely full of themselves a*****e

the ones I spend time asking myself the next morning

Was it that I felt sorry?

Was I lonely?

I tell my dad I love him now

Isn’t that the reason that girls usually throw themselves

give all of them

My relationship with my father I admit wasn’t always perfect

But

how is this fair?

Can someone please just stop me from the constant train that I’m running towards

Just pull me aside

Slap some sense

I try to think of situations

Drunk

Sober

High

Sober

Any situations

Any person

I can’t say No.

No. I like how you described that word as being simple, but then went on to show that really it's not as simple as it can be. The poem had almost a stunted flow to it, which I quite enjoyed.

I think that just about any girl can relate to this at one point or another... This is very meaningful, I think. :) Coming from a guy's perspective.
