The simplicity is unlike another

There was not the urgency

Nor

The guilt

The sense of physical dirtiness was wiped clean

Innocence

Overflowing full of held up feelings

Just barely spilled over

Drop by drop

Kiss by kiss

I walked away as done before

But this time

My realization was not of the kiss

It was fixated

On the burning sensation

That had risen upon my lips

Like the rising sun

That I prayed would never set

I want

I want

All my thoughts

Were fixated on running after

Taking your lips

Upon mine

Hoping you would never pull away

I want you

All of you

Run

Walk

And

Dance away

All my fears

All my pain

All that keeps me hostage

All that has been captured is set free

The power of healing has been placed upon your lips

A shattered window

Upon looking within my eyes

Your lips

Speechless

Untouchable

Evoking my deepest sensations

All as I fantasize of your lips upon me

Once more

Your beauty shines through and through

The gentleness

And the patience

The understanding

And the wisdom that resides in you

The moments of truth

Not wanting to accept

Time

Distance

The old enemy has once again returned

So secretly I tried to hide

My smiles

And laughter

The joy you brought into me

Yet the universe has eyes beyond

Eyes that watch

The universe has realized I have begun to receive joy and happiness

That gentleness and kindness upon others

Has been showered upon me

All by your kiss

Your arms around me

I could have been happy

Yet the universe is there ready to snatch any sign of love in my eyes

Forgive me

Happiness is not truly meant for me

I could have been something that could not be accepted by the always watching eyes, the constant overseer waiting until the moment it can beat the life out of any love or forgiveness I ever begin to receive

Yet I still hope

I hope that you will return

Ready to be there

Be here

Ready for the kiss, the love
